This video is a segment of the Kalmbach video: Dream Plan Build series of DVDs.
This is an excellent series from Model Railroader that covers all aspects of the hobby.
The DVDs was done in 2006 and are still are available for sale.
The segment covered the Twin City Model Railroad Museum when it was located at Bandana Square in St. Paul. Subsequently, Museum had to move – it is now at a location near University Avenue near the old Amtrak Station.
The museum is up and running and is currently operating Saturdays.
With COVID-19, there is reduced capacity, social distancing and masks are required.
The Twin City Model Railroad Museum was started in 1934 and was at the St. Paul Union Depot downtown.
The Museum has the internationally renowned O Scale layout as well as other layouts.
The Museum has in many different model scales including: G (Garden), Standard Gauge, O, S, OO, S, HO, N and Z scales. Toy trains are also represented from different manufacturers including: Lionel, American Flyer, Marklin and others. Thomas the Tank trains are also shown.
Please make reservations for Day Trains or Night Trains as capacity is limited.
Night Trains which will be operating into February.
