Ever since mid March, the train club I go to was closed as a precaution to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Because of that, I was left to running my model trains at home and all the new models I’ve gotten since then. But in the beginning of July, the train club opened its doors to their club members to run our model trains like we once did before the major lockdown struck. However, during times of operation, there are some requirements for the club members to follow to stay safe. On the first day, I took the opportunity to run my Athearn Genesis NS ES40DC since it’s been in my collection for several months now and I’ve not had the chance to run it at the club because it arrived in the mail after the lockdown began (talk about bad timing). NOW, because of the unpredictability of this virus, I don’t know how long the club will be open, but as of the recoding and uploading of this video, we are open but for CLUB MEMBERS ONLY.
