A Full Day on the Line – Part 1
I thought I’d film a full days timetabled working on the railway this week, with this being the first half of the day. I’ll attempt a few nighttime shots next week as darkness falls.
It’s a busy morning on the line, with Black Five 44694 heading a parcels train north towards Skipton. Heading in the opposite direction towards Bradford, Stanier Mogul 42696 drops two coal wagons in Ponden Station goods yard and then continues onto Buckdale to deposit the rest of its train. The engine heads back north with its break an in tow to take up its next duty. GWR 57xx Pannier Tank 3711 has strayed very far from home, heading a five coach MK1 train stopping at Ponden to pass British Railways Standard Class 4MT 80092 heading in the opposite direction.
As always, thanks for watching.
