A model train railway has a massive running session running 17 trains with 96 trucks and 121 coaches on 12 analogue DC controllers. Its sometimes very enjoyable to just spend 15 minutes with the trains whizzing round without human input and listen to the noise of metals wheels on rails clattering over rail joins.
