Amtrak’s early era material handling cars (MHC) made for a silver looking freight train in a sense. Under contract with the US Postal service, Amtrak hauled parcels on behalf of the USPS. This is a replica of a western region long haul train with MHCs and baggage cars. The baggage car in front of the high-level coach dorm would be used for railroad business and passenger checked luggage as the balance of cars were used for transporting parcel of mail.
All locomotives have Tsunami 2 decoders and Current Keepers.
