A running session on Eddie Izzard’s Bexhill 1940: Winter Wartime Model Railway – Christmas Special.
Christmas is upon us once again and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to showcase some trains running on a snow filled, winter themed layout!
Today’s layout is Bexhill 1940: Winter Wartime Model Railway which was inspired by Eddie Izzard. After seeing the layout and it’s team of creators on the recent TV Hornby: A Model World I decided to take a trip to the Bexhill Museum (where the layout is displayed) so I could film it running!
Even though it’s modelled in N Gauge it’s huge and the sheer amount of buildings and detail on this layout is incredible. It’s also so unusual to see a layout covered in snow like this but as you can see it really does make it stand out.
I want to say a big thank you to all the staff at The Bexhill Museum for being so welcoming and putting up with me running around with a camera for the day. I’d definitely recommend going to see the layout for yourself if you can and you can find out more information about it here: /
Thanks for watching and Merry Christmas! ?
