In this new model train video, you’ll see a couple of steam trains running on a layout around my flower garden.
The White Pass steam train #52 is featured first in the video. This model train is based on a real train that used to run on the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway in Skagway, Alaska. The G-scale model was made by Piko.
The second train featured in this model train video is the Coca Cola steam train, which was manufactured by LGB. This was actually a Christmas train that was released by LGB many years ago, and hasn’t been manufactured in quite a long time. It is now a collectors item.
The final model train featured in this video is the Piko Clean Machine, a track cleaning locomotive, pulling LGB gondola cars. It’s a great train for an outdoor layout because it is battery powered… so, it requires no electrical connection to the track.

Trivia fact: At the end of the video, I use the entire full-length version of the “Jim Zim theme music”. This is the only one of my videos that uses the entire song… which is actually known as “Family Montage” by Biz Baz Studio.
Trivia fact #2: In the aerial shot (from my drone) at the end of the video, if you look very carefully on the other side of the Columbia River, you can barely see the cruise ship “American Song” from American Cruise Lines. It was docked in the city of Richland.
