This is a big one! On this episode of Building up a model railway Ep 31 we focus on the lift out section and add the copper clad sleepers to help with this. I am very happy with how this video has turned out with some fun and some serious fixture work going on using the CNC mill to make some parts to help me improve the look of the track joins where the lift out section is. This may help some of you that want to do the same thing so you can have a flexible layout.
I hope you liked the style of the video as it was lots of fun let me know what you think of it. I’m looking forward to getting the rest of the board completed. I need to test the rest of my points as there is a chance I could have some than are not as good as others. I’ve moved to Peco code 100 insul-frog points but If I used some electro-frog points I will need to use insulated rail joiners and then my dad will wire it up for me 🙂 Stay tuned for the future videos and stay safe.
