Make Realistic Model Trees in Fall Color: Y
Do you want to get some ultra realistic, foreground pine trees in your model train layout or diorama by spending less than $2 per tree? Let me show you some ingeneous techniques using commpnly available, natural material to build some. All you need is a little time. 🙂
In this episode, I show my technique of making beautiful and detailed pine trees. These are made in N Scale, but the technique should work very well for HO, OO and 1: 72 scales as well. I build two trees here, one with extensive branch details which took a little longer time to build; and another is made in a faster method which sacrifices a little bit of detailing of the first tree, but still makes a wonderful model.
