This video captures the results of a mini project which I embarked on , whereby I wanted to build a 3 channel Fully linear DC Throttle for my HO train layout . Although I primarily run DCC, I do have a decent amount of vintage DC loco’s and as a result I needed 3 DC throttles for each of my loops on the layout. I decided to design and build my own throttle as I noticed that the commercially available throttles are of low quality circuitry.
I also wanted to avoid PWM type controllers which are freely available on Ebay , but they do create a noticiable hum on the loco motors. I hope you enjoy the video. – Anthony – Anthony’s Hobby Corner.
