A running session on my southern region based model railway to celebrate the layout now extending right round the loft. What started as an end-to-end layout has now had one platform line extended to go right the way around the loft enabling trains to have a continuous run.
Locos seen running (all sound-fitted) are –
Hornby Bulleid West Country pacific.
Heljan class 33.
Bachmann ‘N’ class 2-6-0.
Hornby ‘M7’ 0-4-4T.
Hornby ‘King Arthur’ 4-6-0.
Sutton Loco Works class 24.
Bachmann E4 0-6-2T.
Bachmann Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T.
Bachmann Fairburn 2-6-4T.
Most locos are fitted with sound by Olivias Trains of Sheffield. The exceptions are the M7 with an unknown sound chip and the SLW class 24 with sound by Suttons.
Trackwork is mainly Scaleway phosphor-bronze track with points by Marcway, but I have just purchased some of the new Peco bullhead track and have laid some of that on the new areas.
Still plenty more work to do with fettling the track and ballasting and much scenic work needed, but, it is coming along.
