During my recent visit to San Francisco, I took the opportunity to visit the Golden State Model Railroad Museum, one of the oldest model railroad museums/clubs in United States. The exhibit has 3 large displays of the most popular scales – N, HO and O Scale Model Trains in a whooping 10000 sq feet area. This video shows some of the things that caught my eyes and gives a tour of the N Scale and HO Scale layouts in vivid detail.
I was graciously given the opportunity to walk along the operator’s aisle in the HO section and thus was able to record the hidden scenes that you do not see from the visitor’s aisle. And what t treat it was! Those hidden gems make this visit truly special.
Thank you to all the staff and volunteers of the club/museum for showing me around and helping me out. It was a fantastic afternoon and I hope I get a chance to visit again in future.
