Trains without sounds have their own charm but adding realistic sounds to trains equals better realism, especially for detailed scale modelers who have realistic operations with DCC. But what if you don’t have DCC? Here is one way, abeit rather unconventional to add REAL sounds to non DCC trains. @classicmodeltrains might use a similar method? Not sure.
