This is a video of one of the live steam trains my father built at the track owned by the club he belongs to. I’m running the engine from a riding car hooked up behind the tender. This engine was built in 1971 and was the first engine my father built.
This clip was started in the middle of the back loop of the track, which is on an elevated trestle. At the end of the video I had to stop because I had to throw a switch to get back on the main line. The video picks back up in the next clip right after I threw the switch.
If I get the chance next summer I hope to be able to record video of his other engines at some point.
The club he belongs to is based out of Indiana/Cincinnati and is called The Cinder Sniffers.
