Click on Show MorePlease Like and ShareThe next step in my “From Loop to Layout” series fleshes out and (almost) finalizes the track plan on my small layout. This time, I add more operational capacity by building a yard. This video goes into the layout yards, and what special considerations need to be made when putting a yard on a smaller layout. This video gives an overview of what a yard is, what it does, and includes my overall layout plan and how the yard fits into it.
While this is N-Scale, the principles here are transferrable to any scale.
