In this video we see various model trains at Morehouse, a station on the Stonnington Valley Railway which is a permanent HO scale layout at the Australian Model Railway Association’s Victorian branch in Glen Iris. We see a variety of Australian, American and European rollingstock. Morehouse is one of the larger stations on the layout and has a sizeable yard so we see a number of passing passenger and good trains as well as some shunting.
The video was recorded during a timetabled session with the station being manned by yours truly. Sadly this was my first time at this station which led to me causing much confusion and delay.
We see two trains of mine, an Atlas AEM-7 in SEPTA livery hauling an express passenger train with my Walthers Horizon coaches, and an old Bachmann F40PH in NJ Transit livery hauling a pickup goods train. Sadly since filming this the F40PH has been taken out of service after being dropped (not my me). I think the motor needs replacing as it’s not running as well as it used to. The good news is that I have a video of it running around the layout so keep an eye for that at a later date.

Don’t forget that the club’s Caulfield exhibition will be held on the 26th & 27th of August this year.
