The Norfolk and Western Railway was well known for its continued use of steam locomotives into 1960 when it finally switched over completely to diesel almost ten years after some other railroads had done so. Join me as we wath some N&W steam locomotives in action as they handle their trains along the Western North Carolina Railroad, the club layout of the Northern Virginia Model Railroaders in Vienna, Virginia.
