In this video, I unbox my latest order from oakridgestores.com – I also discuss how each of the items will be used to enhance my Traditional O-gauge Lionel Polar Express Model Train Layout. This order includes two adhesives: Plastruct Bondene Styrene & ABS Cement Glue, Plastruct Plastiweld Cement. It also includes the following Plastruct products:
5/8″ I-Beams
Half-round profile strip stock (5/16″)
Miniature Safety Caged Ladder
O-scale Miniture Stairs (two different styles)
Open Web Truss 3/4″
In addition, I also received three Lionel FasTrack 1.75″ straight sections.
The I-beams and open web truss pieces will be used to simulate structural steel elements on my layout. The Safety Caged Ladder and the stairs will be used to simulate access from ground level to the elevated track on my layout, track number 3.
My traditional O-gauge Polar Express Model Train Layout is a continuing project, and it will incorporate new Polar Express and related items as they become available. The locomotives running on the layout include a Lionel LionChief Berkshire Polar Express Steam Locomotive, a “Ready to Run” Lionel Berkshire Polar Express Steam Locomotive, and a Lionel LionChief Plus Hudson Milwaukee Road Steam Locomotive. The Polar Express Trolley is a Lionel Birney Trolley. The structures on my layout include Woodland Scenics “Built & Ready” structures, Lionel Polar Express Built & Ready Structures, Plasticville Kit Structures, and scratch built structures that I made myself.
