In this video we pay a visit to the 2019 Train & Hobby show at Sandown Racecourse, held on the 9th – 11th March. The event mainly focused on model railways but also featured RC planes and cars/trucks. In this part we see Australian prototype model trains. This year there was a lot of South Australian trains, including 500, 520 and 700 Class steam locomotives and 830, 900 and 930 Class diesel locomotives. Elsewhere we see Victorian Railways A2 class steam locomotives, B, C & T Class locomotives, V/Line Sprinters, the XPT and other trains.
We also see various Lego trains based on Australian trains, including a Victorian Railways T Class and a V/Line Vlocity. We also take a peek at some of the Auscision trains on display in their cabinet.
