The Tsunami2 has been quickly installed in this Scale Trains SD40-2. The model has 21-pin plug, so I used a TSU-21PNEM for EMD and 16x35mm oval speaker. The DDE (Dynamic Digital Exhaust) is one of the best features to auto notch based on what the loco is doing, but here I demonstrate the F5 and F6 override without ever losing control of my loco (no speed lock to use the throttle to notch up and down instead of control of my loco speed.). I’ll cover setting up DDE in another video.
I have set the horn to the early P3 horn. I adjusted volume down (waaay too loud) and set EQ and added reverb to horn to give it a unique sound.
