The Schneider National Dedicated Truck Trailer and Container Train Commonly heard on the radio as Q-106 runs on the Shrine Hill Model Railroad for the first time since it was modeled a couple of years ago. I actually video taped its first inaugural run on the Rose Hulman Model Railroad Student Club Layout and was my very first video. The Train has grown as I have been able to model more cars and trailers since. In this Video you see the train has grown to a realistic length of 28 feet and 39 trailers and containers. In my next video you will see an over view on Dan Hayes HO Layout and the length becomes real. I am pulling with 3 SD 70 CSX Engines and pulls this train well on a 2% grade at Dan Hayes (my next video) Someday I might pull it with the KCS as it is seen so much through the Terre Haute area. CSX is seen occationally on this actual train. My train is modeled as it was just a few years ago with a couple different size trailers and also containers. Today’s train is totally a double stack Schneider container train. and still travels east bound from St. Louis to Indy between 3PM and 7PM. Enjoy this model Schneider National train and then watch for it on Dan Hayes’ layout soon Thanks Newman Atkinson (Shrinehillrail)
