The Villa Park Historical Society has begun to host the T-TRAK model train enthusiasts by offering space inside the museum to create large scale train track and scenery layouts from individual modules only 12 inches long. The T-TRAK system ensures that anyone can built an inexpensive track and scenery module that will snap together with modules built by someone else to create a larger and larger track design.
The Villa Park Historical Museum is housed inside the former Chicago, Aurora and Elgin C.A.&E. train station on the Illinois Prairie Path at Villa Avenue. Inside the museum are train artifacts and other local exhibits. The T-TRAK days are planned to operate once per month inside the museum and there is no charge to participate.
