The Union Pacific Railroad Geneva Subdivision is an N Scale model train layout in its 11 year of construction. The layout is built for operations with many fun ops session successfully completed and many more yet to come. In addition to realistic model train operations, the layout strives to follow the actual Union Pacific as prototypical as possible.
This episode is part one of a two part operations video on the MPRLA. Part one covers building the train at Proviso, the westbound departure of the train from Proviso and the movement of the train from Proviso to Franklin Grove. Part two will cover dropping off and picking up cars at Franklin Grove and the remaining trip from Franklin Grove to Clinton and the west staging tracks (Dallas)
